Justin Bieber admits his mistakes "for being young" but says he is not a "bad person"
The Canadian singer admits that he has screwed up. After numerous incidents during his last tour, such as blackouts and the publication of controversial photographs, Justin Bieber has realized that he cannot continue like this and has wanted to publicly apologize.
In an exclusive interview with the entertainment director of UsWeekly, the singer acknowledged that "I am young and I make mistakes." The one who was Selena Gomez's boyfriend attributes his latest gaffes to his youth and inexperience. Bieber opens his heart and assures that "The big mistake about me is thinking that I am a bad person."
And it is that the singer is aware of his fame, of the thousands and millions of followers that he has and, consequently, that he is an example to follow. That is why Bieber wanted to point out that "I get sad when I hear that I am a bad person. I have a big heart and I want to be a good role model, but there are people who want to make me fall."
It seems that Christina Aguilera's advice has been good for her and the singer has decided to overcome all the criticism and face it, explaining the reason for everything. Bieber wanted to explain why he was seen without a shirt in a hotel or why he went down the street with an oxygen mask, something that he has assured "It was a joke with my friends" motivated by a previous fainting.
Earlier this month the singer had to be treated after vanishing backstage during a concert at London's O2 Arena although he was finally able to finish the concert, "The worst thing for me is disappointing my fans, there were only five songs left to go, so they gave me oxygen and I decided to finish the show before going to the hospital. "
The singer has been sincere and has assured that "I am young and I make mistakes, it is part of growing up", to which he added that "Sometimes I mess it up, it is part of growing up." And is that in recent months Bieber has "messed" a lot, although he seems sorry. During the interview, the singer hints that he believes that there are people taking advantage of these mistakes to try to destroy him. "I know who I am and I am not going to let the negativity towards me kill me. I am a very positive person and I plan to continue being so" he assured.
Family support
At 19, and with the help of those closest to him, Justin has realized that his profession is not easy and pointed out that "This business can kill you, but I have a strong team around you, a family and my fans to prevent it. Love overcomes negativity. " And Bieber knows that "I'm not perfect but I'm trying to grow and try to be better every day" something that he could not do without those who love him most.
He still has a long way to go and a lot to learn, but it is normal for the boy to say that "I am young and I want to have fun, I don't think there is anything wrong with it." And yes, Justin can have fun like any 19-year-old boy, but always keeping in mind that he is an example to millions of teenagers.
At the moment Bieber - whose world tour ended in August - is already thinking about the future, although he points out that "I'm thinking about my next album, the next tour, although I may take a break." We will see how long the repentance lasts.
