Justin Bieber talks about his past mistakes and what his new life is like

Justin Bieber, who became successful at the age of 13, talks about how this affected his bad choices and why he changed his life.

Justin Bieber wrote an Instagram post about how he became "the most hated person in the world" thanks to a series of "bad decisions" in his 20s and how he is now a better person.

The star, who was discovered by music manager Scooter Braun when he was 13, admitted he used hard drugs and mistreated the women he dated, voluntarily driving away those who loved him.

The Canadian star, who has been candid about his struggles with depression, explained how the constant praise he received during his teens distorted his perspective on life. “I went from a 13-year-old boy in a small town to being praised all over the world by a huge number of people,” she said, especially teenagers like him, who treated him like an idol.

However, this did not make him happy, despite the money and the adoration of the masses: perhaps because of too much pressure, perhaps because of the detachment from the real world or perhaps because of a fragility born after the divorce of his parents that the sudden success and the hectic life they fed. He himself admits that the use of drugs, his behavior with women and other crazy gestures soon made him very hated, also a new strong change for him.

Bieber was arrested multiple times in 2014 with offenses ranging from vandalism to driving under the influence of drugs.

However, the star, who is a devoted Christian, said his faith and the support of friends and family, including his wife Hailey Baldwin, helped change his life.

“It took me years to recover from all these terrible decisions, mend broken relationships and change habits,” he said and added that he wanted to be an example for everyone that in life you can change and right the wrongs done.

After the Instagram post, fans showered him with messages of support and love.

“Mistakes have been made but the truth is that you have found a better way back. I am proud to be a believer. " he wrote one. "I've always loved you, Justin and I've always known there was good in you," added another.

Bieber's former bodyguard Kenny Hamilton commented, “Proud of where you have come. We are all here to support you. "

Kyle Massey, who starred on the Disney TV show Raven, also thanked Bieber for shedding light on the "ups and downs" of achieving fame at a young age. “A child star's point of view is one that most people and the media ignore,” he wrote on Instagram. "My family and friends are the only reason I was able to keep my head straight."
