Meghan Markle and Prince Harry invited to Queen's Platinum Jubilee
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were invited to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
But questions remain as to whether the fighting royals will share an appearance on a public balcony outside Buckingham Palace.
The Queen has extended an olive branch to the Sussexes, inviting them to her massive Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the summer.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the Duke and Duchess plan to attend the official Queen's birthday parade which will take place over four days next June.
But it's unclear if Harry and Meghan will appear on the balcony with the rest of the Royal Family.
The celebrations will begin with a full staging of Trooping the Color, the parade of over 1,400 soldiers that marks the Queen's official birthday.
The Sussexes intend to return to the UK for the special occasion.
However, it is not clear whether they will join other Royals on the balcony in a public display of unity at the RAF flypast - following Megxit and the couple's many complaints about family.
Palace attendants plan to limit the number of people on the balcony to include only the active Royals, and thus dismiss the Sussexes.
A source said: 'The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited and I'm sure the Queen can't wait to see them there.
“The moment of the balcony will be decided much closer to the time.
“But there is a limit to how many family members should be on it, and I would have thought the working Royals who contribute to the family would be higher on the list than the Sussexes. "
The revelation comes as warring brothers Harry and William reportedly abandoned plans to deliver speeches when a statue of their late mum, Diana, Princess of Wales, was unveiled.
Talks continue on whether separate or joint statements will be released on July 1 in connection with the Kensington Palace event.
The Queen will visit Scotland this week as William and Harry are expected to stand side by side for Diana's memorial service.
Her Majesty will be visiting the country for Royal Week from June 28 to July 1 - to celebrate the Scottish community, innovation and history.
