Meghan Markle ungrateful with Prince Charles? It was he who would have opened hostilities!
Between Prince Charles and Meghan Markle, nothing is going well. Very annoyed by his daughter-in-law, Prince Harry's father has trouble digesting the words made by the Sussexes in the explosive documentary they shot during their tour in Africa. However, it is he who would be at the origin of this quarrel.
Who really happened between Meghan Markle and Prince Charles? Since the release of the explosive documentary Harry & Meghan An African Journey, the British royal family has been angry with the Sussexes. In the first line ? Prince Charles, who apparently did not direct the remarks made by Archie's parents and would, according to The Sun, be "furious" with his son and "disappointed" by his daughter-in-law. And if he does not recover from the dirty trick played by the couple, it is however he who would have launched hostilities. Long after Meghan and Harry made the decision to make a documentary on their African tour, Prince Charles also wanted a report to be devoted to him. Impossible timing for the Duchess of Sussex.
For the purposes of the documentary Princes Charles: Inside The Duchy Of Cornwall, Harry's father had invited the Sussexes to an exhibition ... without specifying that their visit would be filmed. Neither one nor two, Meghan Markle had preferred to cancel at the last minute, furious to be passed in front and to break the excluded to which she had been working for months. It's simple, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "weren't ready to allow the Duchess to star in a competing show," writes The Sun. And this rabbit, Prince Charles really would not have digested. "The absence of Meghan and Harry at Balmoral was already a shame. But Prince Charles had also invited Meghan to an event, an invitation she had accepted before canceling herself at the last minute," pleaded an employee of Clarence House, the residence of Prince Charles.
A financial threat?
Worse yet, Prince Charles' documentary was downright forgotten by the media, more passionate about the candid, vindictive and tearful interviews the Sussexes shot in Africa. "It is a documentary on the work of a lifetime, which is very close to his heart. It was completely annihilated by Harry and Meghan who think they have reinvented the monarchy", annoyed the close friend of Prince Charles. The straw for Archie's grandfather? Yet very close to his son and even to Meghan Markle - whom he had accompanied to the altar in May 2018 -, the husband of Camilla Parker Bowles does not take offense. So much so that he could well make a big decision soon which would weigh heavily on the finances of the Sussexes. In The Sun, a source close to the Palace assured that Prince Charles would think about cutting them off.
“Harry and Meghan are partly funded by the Sovereign Grant and partly by Charles. Meghan does not have a great fortune and Harry has around 20 million in the bank. If they continue to behave like this, Prince Charles will stop giving them money ", explains this source to our British colleagues. And for the Sussexes, such a choice could well become a handicap. But will this financial threat be enough for Harry and Meghan Markle to take a step forward and try to calm the situation with their lifelong ally? In view of their last statements - and in particular their very harsh words towards the monarchy -, it is not won.
