Meghan Markle wants to be a second Lady Di, according to a book by Andrew Morton
Meghan Markle, the fiancee of Prince Harry of England, is a determined woman who as a teenager had admiration for the late Princess of Wales and wants to be a "Diana 2", according to a new biography. Andrew Morton, famous for having written "Diana : Her True Story ", which once revealed the marriage crisis of the Princes of Wales, has now written a book about the former American actress, who will marry Prince Henry on May 19.
According to the new book by Morton, entitled "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess" and some of whose excerpts are published in the "Sunday Times", Prince Harry's fiancee viewed her former mother-in-law as a "role model" and was intrigued by the humanitarian work of Diana of Wales.
"She was always fascinated by the Royal Family. She wants to be a Princess Diana 2," Ninaki Priddy, a childhood friend of Meghan Markle's, told the author, as published in "The Sunday Times." The book, let it go released on April 12, describes Markle as a determined woman who one day decided to end her first marriage to producer Trevor Engelson in 2013, after two years of marriage. Andrew Morton reveals that Markle sent her her husband. Then husband the wedding ring and the engagement ring by mail, something that caused Engelson a great anger, a feeling that apparently still lingers.
Friends of the former actress in Los Angeles have also reported that she no longer has time to see them and that he cancels his appointments at the last minute and hopes that they adjust their schedules to hers.Among other things, Morton says that before meeting Queen Elizabeth II, Markle practiced having tea in an establishment in the suburbs of Los Angeles known as Rose Tree Cottage, which serves traditional "afternoon tea" consisting of cucumber sandwiches and "scones" (English scones). Prince Henry and his fiancee will be married in St George's Chapel at Windso Castle r, on the outskirts of London.
