Thomas Markle is a veteran who, since May 2018, has had no contact with his daughter Meghan Marle, the Duchess of Sussex.
After the announcement of the birth of Lilibet, the second daughter of Meghan and Prince Harry, Thomas revealed that he was "very happy" for the arrival of his new granddaughter.
“I am very happy that my daughter had a successful delivery. I wish you all my love and good luck, "said Thomas, according to The Sun newspaper.
In May 2018, the Duchess of Sussex cut off communication with her father, calling him treacherous. At that point, Meghan found out that her father played "paparazzi" and sold photos of her wedding to Prince Harry.
Today, Thomas acknowledged that he made a "stupid mistake" for which he apologized and according to international reports, he wants his daughter to allow him to meet her granddaughter, but he does so under threats.

According to reports, Thomas Markle gave an exclusive interview which has generated nervousness in the inner circle for Meghan and Prince Harry.
The promotion of that interview began to circulate on Sunday, June 6, by showing images of Thomas.
In a short video, the Duchess of Sussex's father was heard affirming that he will be disappointed if he fails to hold his granddaughter in his arms. "If you won't forgive me, this will be the first time I've brought up all the dirty laundry," Thomas said.

The interview will air in Australia on Sunday June 13 and according to Thomas, he believes that will put Meghan in check. However, he said that he does not know if something could disturb her at the present time.
