Melania Trump's Ex-Friend Claims US President & First Lady's Marriage Was Just a Profit Deal

A former friend of the US first lady claims there is a transactional agreement in the marriage of President Donald Trump and Melania.

Quoted from the Daily Mail, the agreement is in the form of an exchange of benefits and wishes, namely that Trump gets 'arm candy' while Melania can get security.

Arm candy is defined as an attractive companion, but there is no romance with the accompanying one.

"I believe this is a transactional marriage. Donald gets arm candy," Stephanie Winston Wolkoff said in an interview with the BBC on Friday.

"Melania has had two dynamic decades. She is a young model, she has not been successful."

"She met Donald, she got married, she became an American citizen, they had a son and ten years after that she became the first lady of the United States," Wolkoff said.

According to him, Trump and Melania's love journey is a charade for the media.

"I believe it was a magical moment and I also believe it was a moment made for TV," she said.

Donald Trump and Melania Knauss married in 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Followed by a reception held at Mar-a-Lago.

The marriage was the third time for Trump and a few years later they had one son, Barron Trump.

In the interview, Wolkoff also alluded to Melania's appearance on the February 2005 cover of the Vogue tabloid.

Melania appeared in a wedding dress in a magazine that became a barometer of the world's models at that time.

When asked about Woloff's claims, Melania did not comment much.

He lashed out at his former best friend and dismissed his claims as delusional and malicious gossip.

In the last week or so, the first lady has started to raise her public profile following the final phase of her husband, Donald Trump's campaign.

Melania addressed the Republican National Convention last month, as part of her bid to win Trump back.

Even though she has been involved in many political events lately, Melania cannot be separated from a number of media reporting on the book 'Melania And Me' by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

Wolkoff briefly worked on Trump's inauguration as a volunteer adviser early in the administration.

Furthermore, he also talked about the tension between Melania Trump and her stepdaughter, Ivanka Trump.

He also revealed that Melania used a private email, which Hillary Clinton did and drew strong criticism from Trump.

"Melania and I both don't use White House email," Wolkoff told the Washington Post.

The first lady is said to have used the Trump Organization's personal email account and emails from the MelaniaTrump.com and iMessage domains.

According to Wolkoff, Melania's email contains discussions about government, state visits and schedules, Easter events, and other things.

But according to The East Wing, Melania Trump has followed the requirements of the Presidential Records Act.

The use of private email is allowed but illegal to discuss confidential topics.

Wolkoff also admitted to recording his conversation with Melania, and argued he was doing it for protection.

He told The Post that he started recording Melania in February 2018 until they stopped talking or texting on January 1, 2019.

"I didn't record a friend. I would never record a friend," said Winston Wolkoff.

According to Wolkoff he had broken up with Melania while recording their conversation.
