A childhood friend of the future princess revealed some details about her childhood:
"Meghan had the most normal upbringing you can imagine, but we always knew that she was destined for great things."

"I think when she was growing up she identified as African American. Being biracial was never a problem for her. She didn't know the difference and it was never a big deal to her."
