Prince Charles can no longer be "tortured" by Harry
Although he has not spoken publicly on Prince Harry's statements, Prince Charles is reportedly having a heavy heart. An expert on the royal family told US Weekly the Duke of Edinburgh was "boiling with anger".
Prince Harry's repeated interventions have left their mark. Especially on the side of Prince Charles who is struggling to recover from his son's statements. The Duke of Edinburgh would indeed feel "tortured" by the "constant attacks" of the Duke of Sussex, royal family specialist Nick Bullen told US Weekly on Wednesday (May 26th). The expert also claims Prince Charles is "hurt" and "disappointed" by his son's comments, but refrains from responding publicly.
Also according to Nick Bullen, Prince Charles would have been greatly surprised by the criticisms leveled against him by Prince Harry, who pointed out in particular the education he had received and the way in which his father had transmitted to him "the pain and the suffering ”that he himself had known. “The general consensus within the Royal Family is to ignore Harry's behavior to avoid stoking the flames, but Charles is having a hard time restraining himself. He really wants to defend himself, ”said the specialist of the royal family.
Repeated reviews in a new series he co-produced
Following the controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which he notably accused the royal family of racism, Prince Harry again criticized those close to him on several occasions. More recently, the latter has given the cover again in The Me You Can’t See, a series devoted to mental health which he co-produced with the famous American presenter. In the program, the Duke of Sussex returned to his relationship with Prince Charles, as well as the royal family's neglect in the face of Meghan Markle's distress and harassment from the media. The couple had decided to return to the United States to regain some serenity and live an "almost" normal life, as they are about to welcome their baby girl during the summer.
