Prince Edward and Sophie of Wessex finally come out of silence regarding Meghan and Harry

Prince Edward and his wife Sophie of Wessex have made rare comments on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's resignation from royal duties and their shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey during an interview for The Telegraph.

They hadn't said anything until now. Prince Edward, the son of Queen Elizabeth II and the late Prince Philip, and his wife Sophie of Wessex spoke in an interview for The Telegraph about the story of Meghan and Harry. The journalist decided to make them react to the explosive interview between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with Oprah Winfrey, broadcast on March 7 on American television. Except that the response of the two concerned was not really that expected.

"Oprah, who?" commented Prince Edward. As for Sophie, she said with a laugh: "What interview?" But the couple still took it seriously. The Countess spoke of Oprah Winfrey's popularity in England, which apparently isn't as much as you might expect: "You know, if you don't like cats, there's no reason to which you should know who she is. Certainly not in this country, anyway. " And when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's resignation from royal duties, Edward and Sophie have stepped up their efforts. "We have tried to do what we do, hopefully," she told the reporter. One thing is certain for the Countess, no matter what drama shakes the Crown, they "always make a family, no matter what, we always will be."

Sophie of Wessex very invested in the monarchy

Indeed, it is possible that one day the royal couple will inherit other titles of nobility. But in the meantime, Lady Louise's mother makes it a point of honor to prepare her 17-year-old daughter to embody royalty with as much panache as possible. There is no question that his offspring is not in the light to support the Crown especially at this time. Thus, Lady Louise Windsor has made several public appearances since the death of Prince Philip on April 9. She notably joined her parents for a special service in honor of the Duke of Edinburgh, with whom she shared a passion for equestrian sports, in the All Saints Chapel in Windsor. For Judi James, the body language expert, the girl seems to have a bright future in royalty.
