The Queen calls Harry back to London: "Concerned about his mental health"
Prince Harry will return to London not only to inaugurate the statue of Lady Diana, but at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth, who invited him to lunch
On July 1st, Prince Harry will be in London to inaugurate, together with his brother William, the statue dedicated to Lady Diana in Sunken Garden (Kensington Palace). The date chosen is not accidental, but marks the 60th birthday of the unforgettable Princess of Wales. After all, the Duke of Sussex could not miss it. As the Mirror writes: "Harry has no excuses."
Lunch with the Queen
The design of the statue, the first official monument dedicated to Diana, was strongly supported by Prince William and Harry. The brothers, in 2017, presented him like this: “Twenty years have passed since our mother's death, the time has come to recognize her positive impact on the UK and the world with a permanent statue”. After weeks of indiscretions, therefore, it now seems certain that Prince Harry will be next to William next July, although the two have already decided to hold separate speeches. After the inauguration, however, the duke will not return to California immediately. An insider told the Daily Mail: "The Queen invited Harry for lunch in Windsor."
A private moment between grandmother and granddaughter. Meghan was excluded. Maybe it will be an opportunity to clarify, to review certain positions and, finally, to settle the differences? Or will the meeting cause new tensions? For now, nothing is leaked about her Majesty's intentions. The last meeting between Elizabeth II and Prince Harry took place last April, on the occasion of Prince Philip's funeral, but of course that was not the best occasion to settle the family feuds.
The infinite patience of His Majesty
The experts, however, are ready to bet that the sovereign will not exclude Harry from his life and from his dearest affections. Despite the misunderstandings, the harsh accusations of the Duke of Sussex, his grandmother will always extend her hand to him. The reason is explained by Angela Levin who, in a comment via Twitter reported by Vanity Fair, she assured: “There will be no definitive break. [Queen Elizabeth] won't cut ties with Prince Harry "because she" is concerned about her nephew's mental health. " In fact, the definitive removal of the prince from the royal family could have consequences on his mental equilibrium that the expert defined as "devastating".
For this reason it seems that the full Sussexes have already been invited, in 2022, to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The possibility of Harry falling victim to his demons again must be avoided at all costs. With this goal, Kate Middleton is also working behind the scenes, in order to heal the conflicts between her husband and her brother-in-law. In this regard, Gary Goldsmith, uncle of the Duchess, said: "Kate is doing everything possible to relax family relations".
It seems to understand that, in some way, Prince Harry is almost protected by the two leading figures of the royal family, Kate and Queen Elizabeth. Both would like to remain patient in the face of the utterances, albeit serious, of one of their relatives who do not want and cannot abandon. We just have to wait for further developments, especially as regards the long-awaited lunch between the duke and his grandmother. It is not excluded that, after 1 July, the future of Harry and the royal family takes a different, perhaps unexpected turn.
