What Elon Musk Hopes To Be US President Is Kanye West
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has become the richest man in the world, thanks to his rising Tesla share price.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Musk has about $ 188 billion in assets, more than Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' wealth of just about $ 187 billion.
"It's so weird. Alright, let's get back to work," Musk said Thursday, January 7, quoted from The Verge.
In addition to owning the spaceflight company SpaceX, Musk also owns a large stake in electric car maker Tesla. Over the past year, Tesla's stock price has continued to grow.
Support presidential candidates
In mid-2020, Musk caused a stir, after he gave his endorsement to rapper Kanye West who wants to run in the 2020-2024 US presidential election.
Musk's support is evident from the comments he made in Kanye West's tweets on Twitter that it was about to be posted in the US presidential election.
"Now we must fulfill America's promise by trusting God, uniting our vision, and building our future. I am running for President of the United States," West wrote.
"You have my full support," Musk tweeted.
However, Kanye West did not participate in the 2020 US presidential election that he won through a new party called "The Birthday Party." West failed because he was 14 seconds late for the Wisconsin presidential candidate's registration deadline.
He was taken to the Wisconsin Court, but West was declared defeated and could not flee.
