Famous drivers: Angelina Jolie, beauty and resourcefulness
The passion for flying has infected the whole family, from her son Maddox to ex-husband Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie, famous actress, mother of 6 children and ex-wife of Brad Pitt does not need many introductions: she has been repeatedly declared the most fascinating and beautiful woman in the world but also among the 100 most influential people in the world according to TIME magazine . In 2015, according to a survey conducted by YouGov, she is "the most admired woman in the world", thanks to charitable activities and humanitarian causes for her role as ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR ).
Angelina is also an airplane pilot: it is said that Angelina Jolie had the idea of becoming a pilot thanks to her son Maddox who was delighted every time she saw a plane fly. “Every time Maddox sees an airplane, he is amazed. If I could fly a plane to him I would be like Superman, ”Jolie said years ago.
His mother Angelina, to amaze him, in 2004 decided to take the pilot's license and Maddox soon made the first flight with her mother in command of a Cirrus SR22.
In 2013, however, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which did not receive the star's license renewal request, decided not to renew flight eligibility for the Cirrus SR22. The FAA is the US Department of Transportation agency charged with regulating and overseeing every aspect of civil aviation. According to official statements, Jolie did not send the documents relating to the flight suitability of her Cirrus SR-22, worth approximately 260 thousand euros, before the deadline set for 30 June.
According to the actress's team, however, the documents were correctly sent, although they did not arrive in time.
The actress, director, producer and UNHCR ambassador appears at the helm of a plane in the ITV documentary, The Queen's Green Planet, which sees her - with extreme nonchalance - in command of a small plane over the Namibian desert. The aim is to reiterate the importance of preserving forests. The project, strongly supported by Queen Elizabeth, aims to preserve green areas of the planet in every country of the Commonwealth.

Brad's passion for this kind of medium came during the filming of the film “Fury” about the Second War by director David Ayer.
