Kate Middleton and Prince William's home truly astonishing?

This is the country house where Kate Middleton and Prince William vacation

When William of Cambridge - second in line to the throne in England - married Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth presented them with an expensive mansion located in Norfolk, United Kingdom. This is called Anmer Hall and it is a huge house that dates back to the 18th century, so it has undergone several changes throughout its existence.

Since before the birth of Prince George, the first child of William and Kate (who is also successor to the throne) the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge flocked to this country house, which is located a couple of kilometers from Sandringham, the holiday home of Queen Elizabeth II.

Now, with three young children, William and Kate take advantage of every vacation time to unwind from the cameras and stress at Kensington Palace, their official residence. They even go out to the streets to live with the locals. In fact, on Halloween Kate Middleton was seen shopping for the occasion.

The Dukes' Love for Anmer Hall

The Duke of Cambridge's country home is somewhat isolated, so there is no way for paparazzi to enter the property. In addition, the royals' country house is protected against flying objects such as helicopters, drones or any type of aerial invasion. This is why the rest home is so loved by the family.

The country house was modified when the princes married and the project was in charge of the architect Charles Morris. This in order to make it more comfortable and not only made it more spacious; Instead, they modified a tennis court and relocated the pool, to have it as far away as possible from any entrance. Another of the modifications that the house underwent was the interior design.

The property had a red tile roof remodeled and a new natural brick fence was erected. Thus, the country house has 10 rooms, highlighting the double, which has the largest bathroom in the house. To decorate it they hired Ben Pentreath who only added a bit of life to the rooms by adding locally designed pieces and completely modifying the kitchen. This one is much more contemporary leaving behind the old style.

The new couple decided that Anmer Hall should have a winter garden for the whole family to have a good time growing plants, as it is one of the royal family's favorite pastimes. This is how they enjoy nature, which is why the dukes added some animals such as chickens to their country house. For Kate Middleton it is important that her children know the value of animal life. Additionally, the little princes, George, Charlotte and Louis take care of a hamster named Marvis, as well as a cocker spaniel, whose name is Lupo.
