Megan Fox explained why she called Donald Trump a 'legend'

Megan Fox is done with people twisting her words. After calling former President Donald Trump a "legend," the Until Death star took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 14 to clarify what she meant. It all started after the actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she revealed she was sitting in the same row as the controversial figure in last weekend's UFC fight. “I was in a row with Bieber, and Trump was in my row too,” she said. "He had, like, thirty secret services with him." He was a legend. "

The 35-year-old actor went on to say that the arena seemed to be full of Trump supporters. “I was like, I don't know how I feel, because if someone is a target, then I'm like, I might get hurt because I'm adjacent to where they are”, a she continued. “So I was worried about my own safety, that's all I cared about.” Jennifer's body star added that she had "never seen anything like it before," calling the whole experience "crazy."

Unfortunately, Fox's choice of words did not go well on the internet, and many people accused him of supporting Trump despite his nefarious policies and rhetoric. “Uhmmm… I don't align myself with any political party or individual politician,” she said on Instagram. “I never said Donald Trump was a legend. I said he was a legend… in this arena (key piece of the sentence). The arena was packed with UFC fight fans. Many of them are clearly Republicans due to the insane crowd reaction he received upon entering the T-Mobile Hall.

Fox added that Trump to be hailed as some sort of hero in this arena was “an observable fact” and not a personal opinion. She closed her statement with a sarcastic comment aimed at those who jump to conclusions about her political beliefs. “I really love this uneducated, half-devilish pitchfork, burning witch mentality at the stake,” she wrote. “The world needs more of this. "

Fox touched on more than just Trump's presence in the UFC fight in the interview. When guest host Arsenio Hall asked if she and her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly coordinated their outfits, Fox confirmed they did. “It's something I started with him just because he's such a flamboyant trainer that I can't really take the sweatpants and yoga gear off anymore,” she confessed. "I have to rise to his level. she also spoke of their recent trip to Costa Rica, where they made ayahuasca, a psychedelic infusion used socially and medicinally.

Earlier this month, Fox spoke about some of the challenges they've faced as a couple, including criticism of their four-year age gap. “Do you mean patriarchy? Fox said in an interview with In Style. “The fact that he's four years younger than me and people want to act like I'm dating a younger man. He's 31 and I'm 35. Sure, he's lived like 19 his whole life, but he's not 19.

Later in the interview, MGK frankly expressed his feelings for Fox. “She's like the earth,” he said. “When it’s summer, it’s the hottest summer. When it’s winter, it’s the most incredible cold. In fall and spring, it's a nice transition. She is unlike any person I have met in my life. I just want people to understand it's real. I don't think people have the opportunity to believe in true, great love, and that's what we have together.
