MEGAN FOX: "I WOULD LIKE A ROLE IN A MARVEL OR DC FILM"
In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Megan Fox talked about her future projects, or rather, those that are her wishes. The American actress and model, among other things, has revealed that she would like to take part in a Marvel or DC production cinecomic, as she grew up with comics and graphic novels.
Currently, Fox would be looking for "fun but unconventional" roles. “I want to grow as an actress,” she confessed she. “I feel I have wasted a lot of time, but now I want to take on new challenges, and improve more and more”. Megan Fox, however, did not make specific titles, or names of characters that she would eventually like to play.
The actress, between 2007 and 2009, had starred in the first two films of the Transformers saga, both directed by Michael Bay. Fox had not, however, been recalled for the third episode of the series, in 2011, due to disagreements with Bay himself, who she defined as "a sort of Adolf Hitler". The director, in a subsequent interview with GQ, had defended his position, affirming the need for hard and intense preparation before going to the set.
Megan Fox strengthened her big screen notoriety with Jennifer's Body, a 2009 horror film that saw her play the role of a demon-possessed cheerleader. A role that the actress would not disdain to reprise in the near future: “I don't think it would be difficult to write a sequel to Jennifer's Body. I know they are trying to make a series, that would be cool! Jennifer's Body has become a horror classic over the years. "
Continuing on Karyn Kusuma's film, scripted by Diablo Cody, the actress said: “We were all aware of what we were doing, but at the same time we were bothered by the way the studio had sold the film. For me, Jennifer's Body is a really great movie. "
