Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share the first photo of Lili, their daughter!
Their little Lilibet Diana was born on June 4th, and this week Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sent a photo of her to the Royal Family, via WhatsApp!
Despite the tensions, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reconnected with the royal family, to keep members informed of the arrival of their little girl! On June 6, the Sussex couple shared an official statement announcing the birth of Archie's little sister, who is "more than we could have imagined," as they say.
A photo to warm up the atmosphere
A few days later, we learn this week on ET that parents have already shared a photo of their baby by text message with family members, shortly after birth. A source reports that a portrait of the little one was shared on a WhatsApp loop of the family at large, which was created to keep everyone in touch (ironic, isn't it).
And obviously, the peace gestures are starting to pay off, three months after the stink balls sent by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during their interview with Oprah Winfrey. And for good reason, in this process, they can both count on a good fairy: Kate Middleton.
The latter was reportedly contacted to serve as "an intermediary in helping to smooth relations between Harry and the royal family". In addition to the phone calls that Meghan would have made to him, to relax the atmosphere, Harry also communicates with his sister-in-law.
Our colleagues thus quote a source which reports that Harry "sent a text message to Kate after the birth of Lili" and that Kate is now doing all that is necessary to be a "peacemaker".

On June 11, on the sidelines of the G7, the Duchess of Cambridge commented about her niece: “I wish her all the best. I can't wait to meet her ”. And to add: "We have not yet met her. I hope it will be soon ”. Hopefully.
