Meghan Markle shares the first photo of Lilibet on the royal family's WhatsApp group
Despite the friction between Meghan Markle and Prince Henry of England with the rest of the British royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain in contact with all the Windsors through the same 'royal' WhatsApp group.
This has been explained by various media, such as 'Entertainment Tonight' or the tabloid 'The Mirror', which assure that the recent parents for the second time have used this popular digital tool to share the first photo of the newborn Lilibet Diana Mountbatten- Windsor, who came to the world on June 4 at the Santa Barbara Hospital in Montecito, California.
According to the aforementioned media, through that same group the proud parents also often share some photos of Archie, who turned two on May 6.
The new great-granddaughter of Elizabeth II, the 11th, may have arrived to calm the waters between the young son of Charles of England and his grandmother, revolts from the 'Megexit' (when the dukes dissociated themselves from their work of royal representation and moved to the US) and, above all, after the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they denounced that before their first-born, Archie, was born in Buckingham there was concern about how dark the child's skin would be.
In addition to sharing the first photo of the little girl in the family chat, her parents have given the girl the name of the sovereign, specifically Lilibet, the diminutive that she coined when she was very young she was unable to pronounce "Elizabeth", and with that Affectionate appellation continues to call her the closest family (her middle name, Diana, is in honor of her missing paternal grandmother, who would have turned 60 next month).
Peace and harmony
Peace and harmony now seem to reign in the royal family. Even the little girl's aunt, Kate Middleton, with whom there has also been speculation about her not very good relationship with Markle, publicly expressed her emotion for her arrival in the world of her niece. "I wish her the best, I can't wait to meet her. I haven't been able to do it yet and I hope it's soon," said Prince William's wife.
A happy news that also joins the great moment that Meghan Markle lives as a writer. The Duchess of Sussex's first book as an author, entitled 'The Bench' (Random House), has managed to sneak into the first position of the reputed list of the best sellers of 'The New York Times' in the children's category and in just two weeks after it went on sale in US bookstores.
