Self-made topless images of Meghan Markle come to light
The North American media that have echoed the new photographs of Prince Harry's wife topless put it this way: "Anyone with eyes can clearly see that these naked photos of Markle are authentic." However, and as is logical on the other hand, a representative of Kensington Palace insists that they are false. Let each one judge.
Let's go by parts. Once the 21st century has come of age, and even much earlier, the scandal of the woman (actress and divorcee) of a British crown prince sunbathing topless is not such. The matter of Kate Middleton caught on her honeymoon in France without the bikini top is still going on, along with William of England, a report for which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took the French weekly Closer to court together with the authors of the photos and for which they obtained a compensation much lower than what they requested: from two million euros to just 190,000. This case is very different: the images of Meghan are taken by herself and in a public place.
In the summer of 1971, paparazzo Settimio Garritano photographed the naked widow of President Kennedy, assassinated 8 years earlier in Dallas. Jackie was then married to the Greek shipowner Aristotle Onassis and was resting on his private island of Skorpios, to which the photographer agreed disguised as a gardener. The images were published in Italy months later, but they did not reach the United States until 1975, when Athina Onassis' billionaire grandfather had died. That edition of Hustler with Jackie naked was the best-selling ever. And it still is almost half a century later.
But back to the Duchess of Sussex and May 2018: Jackie's nude story is very different from the one we discuss today. For starters, the images that have come to light a few days after Windsor's wedding are taken by Meghan herself, not by a paparazzo. And they have been leaked through digital media after a daily mistake that can happen to anyone: Meghan wanted to take a selfie with her friends, topless (the one below), but from behind, and she did not hit the automatic of the camera. Accidental result: she photographs herself without knowing that the camera records, as is evident in the sequence of images.
On the other hand, at 36 years old, the former actress had already been portrayed and filmed in very hot scenes, as everyone knows, as a result of her work as an interpreter, scenes that have been around the world and that Harry had probably seen many times. And even some images jumped on the online radar web months before her wedding, very risque, which were discarded as authentic.
On the other hand, these images that now come to light are much more recent than anyone can imagine. It is enough to check the physiognomy of the Duchess of Sussex today with the images to realize it.
