Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves got married secretly and by accident!

2 years ago, Winona Ryder revealed that she had married one of our generation's favorite actors: Keanu Reeves. Or at least that's what she believed. And while it seems fitting that 2 of the most memorable actors of the '80s and' 90s had a marriage, how come no one found out about this? Winona and Keanu have known each other for decades and although they never had an official romantic relationship, it is very likely that they are legally married. And that may well have been an accident for both of them.
Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves, married?
The story begins when Ryder and Reeves co-starred in Francis Ford Coppola's adaptation of "Dracula" in 1992. Ryder played Mina and Reeves played her fiancĂ©, Jonathan Harker. In the movie, there is a scene where the couple gets married. And according to Ryder, the wedding wasn't just a show for the cameras. It was real. “In fact, we got married in Dracula. No, I swear to God I think we're married in real life, "the Stranger Things actress told Entertainment Weekly in an August 2018 interview." In that scene, Francis (Coppola) used a real Romanian priest.
We filmed it and did everything. So I think we're married. "Reeves and Ryder were doing a joint interview to promote their new movie," Destination Wedding. "But sadly, the John Wick star didn't have as vivid a memory of the big day as his girlfriend." Did we say yes? "Keanu asked in complete confusion, to which Winona nodded." After the interview, Coppola affirmed what they were saying: Dracula's wedding was real! The director was not satisfied with the original wedding scene filmed for the film, so he asked the actors to redo it at a Greek Orthodox church in Los Angeles. "We actually did the ceremony and we had the priest do the ceremony," Coppola told The Guardian. "So in a sense, when we finished, we realized that Keanu and Winona are really married as a result of this scene and this ceremony."
Ryder and Reeves, who also appeared together in the movies "A Scanner Darkly" and "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee," seem to be amused by the idea that they might be married. In a recent interview, Reeves revealed that the actress sometimes calls him "husband" in text messages.
While they are not a couple in real life, Reeves and Ryder have been platonic friends for a long time. In 1993, Reeves named Ryder, along with Johnny Depp, River Phoenix, and Drew Barrymore as some of his closest friends. And the two have since admitted that they fell in love with each other when they were younger. "I was very in love with him," Ryder said in an interview with ET, to which Reeves replied, "I was very in love with you too." She's too bad Keanu Reeves is currently dating Alexandra Grant, but at least the wife is Winona.
