Angelina Jolie will have no more children
We regularly announce the expansion of the family. But the star announces that she stops at six children, which is already not bad.
No more rumors every three months which announce the umpteenth pregnancy of Angelina Jolie: it will be necessary to be made a reason, the nest is full, there will be no other children in the tribe Jolie-Pitt. It is the star herself who confided her decision to Elle magazine: "We stop at six children, she confided in an interview. We realized all the time that we had to devote to them ... "It is true that with six children, aged 5 to 13 - including two twins - and parents still active and committed to humanitarian aid, the family schedule already seems busy.
Another reason could explain the choice of the actress: after her double mastectomy, undergone last year, Angelina Jolie is seriously considering an removal of the ovaries, according to the American press. The star herself recently confided that she would have to undergo a second preventive operation to put the odds in her side and avoid developing the cancer that killed her mother, Marcheline Bertrand. Such a decision would definitely ruin her chances of procreating in the years to come, at least in the classic way, even if the couple can always make the choice of adoption, if they ever change their mind.
"Every night, we do the tour ..."
As a reminder, Brad and Angelina have formed a beautiful rainbow line, bringing together adopted and biological children: twins Knox and Vivienne (5 years old), Shiloh (8 years old), Zahara of Ethiopian origin (9 years old), Pax of Vietnamese origin (10 years old) and the eldest Maddox, adopted by Angelina in Cambodia, who will be 13 years old next August.
As you might expect, there is a lot of atmosphere at home, especially as the Jolie-Pitts want to stay as close as possible to their children, even when they are filming, which forces them to carry around their clan of continent to continent. “With Brad, we coordinate,” Angelina explains in Elle. “If I work, he stays with them. And every night we go around. We check in on everyone, we sit down with each of the kids separately to make sure we have listened to them all. " The ritual remains the same: spend a few moments with each one, tell stories to the youngest and knock on the room of Maddox, their teenager, "if he wants to talk to us," the star admitted to Stylist magazine. A boy who would start to give them a hard time.
"I don't want them to become actors"
How do they see their parents? “They know we make movies,” says Angelina in Elle. “But also that dad makes furniture and builds houses and mom likes to go on trips with the United Nations. And they talk about both in the same way.” No question of idealizing their profession in front of them. "I don't want my kids to become actors. I won't stop them if it's their passion, but I'd rather they did something else. Brad and I made the decision not to keep them away from the sets, but we don't want them to idealize cinema. We don't want to make it a good or a bad thing. "
For now, the small tribe continues to tease their parents, engaged for two years, to get them married. "We are discussing it with them and they already have their plans bordering on hysteria," admitted the actress in a recent interview, although she has not yet decided on a precise date. "In a way, they will be the organizers of the party with a Disney theme or a paintball game."
