Britney attacked his car with an umbrella and was recorded on video during the disturbing incident.
Kate Moss
As one of the biggest supermodels in the world, Kate Moss is a target for photographers constantly. She joined the list of celebrities who attacked paparazzi in 2006, when she attacked one with her purse and umbrella. Moss’ violent outburst came at a difficult time for the model, when she was trying to return to the world of modeling after her infamous cocaine scandal.
Lindsay Lohan
Many of Lohan’s run-ins with the law included the paparazzi, whether she accused them from making her panic in traffic or simply attacked them. She even turned to her music to discuss her problems with the paparazzi with her single “Rumors”. However, her most famous attack was in 2008, when she hit a photographer in New York City, then accused him of trying to make her trip.
Nicole Richie
After leaving behind her friendship with Paris Hilton, Richie’s legal troubles continued when she attacked two paparazzi with a water bottle. However, Nicole Richie wasn’t prosecuted, as many celebrities who attacked paparazzi are, because she had taken a restraining order against the photographers, which she claimed stalked her daily.
Shia LaBeouf
The 27 year old actor has had many encounters with the law, but only two memorable ones involved paparazzi. The first one came in 2010, when he grabbed a photographer’s equipment, while the second took place in Washington D.C., where Shia LaBeouf threw a hot cup of coffee on a paparazzo.
Cameron Diaz
While she’s not known for having a short temper, Cameron Diaz had a few run-ins with the paparazzi when she was dating Justin Timberlake. Even if she hasn’t tried it since, she’s still one of the celebrities who attacked paparazzi. In 2004, she grabbed a photographer’s camera. The actress explained that she also considered moving to New York for more privacy.
Justin Bieber
The singer has been outspoken about the need for tougher laws when it comes to the paparazzi, especially after the death of one photographer who pursued him in traffic. However, Justin Bieber wasn’t always as thoughtful when it comes to the paparazzi, since he threw a shoe at one in 2012, during a vacation with Selena Gomez.
Sienna Miller
The British model and actress also had altercations with the paparazzi. Sienna Miller hit a photographer with her purse in 2008 at LAX. Airport security guards intervened immediately, but unlike other celebrities who attacked paparazzi, Miller didn’t mean to harm the photographer, since her bag was almost empty and very light.
Kanye West
Not a big fan of the paparazzi, Kanye West was arrested twice at the Los Angeles International Airport for assaulting them, in 2008 and 2013. After the first incident, Kanye got off with community service for the accusation of felony vandalism. The second time, he told the paparazzi that he won’t be provoked into violence, but he was, and ended up grabbing the camera and getting charged with misdemeanor criminal battery and attempted grand theft.
Björk
One of the most famous incidents with celebrities who attacked paparazzi involved the Icelandic singer in 1996, when she attacked a reporter in Thailand. After keeping her cool for 12 years, Björk snapped again in 2008 and ripped a photographer’s shirt off at Auckland International Airport in New Zealand.
