Harry Styles has sarcastically responded to haters of the likes of him by dressing up after causing a stir online with the cover for Vogue US.

The 26-year-old singer recently appeared in the December issue of Vogue in a beautiful Gucci dress and some feminine skirts and garments. Despite being applauded by his fans and some connoisseurs for his peculiar way of seeing fashion.

“Not wearing [something] because it's women's clothing, it excludes a whole world of cool clothes. And I think the exciting thing about now is that you can wear whatever you want. It doesn't have to be X or Y. Those lines are getting more and more blurred. Harry told Vogue at the time.

Styles also received some criticism for his "lack of masculinity", especially from activist and actress Candace Owens who wrote on Twitter: "Bring back manly men."

Now, the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer addressed the controversy after a new interview with Variety magazine, and responded directly to Owens' tweet with a post on Instagram, writing: "Bring back the manly men" while posing eating a banana and wearing feminine clothes again.

Evidently fans have been thrilled by the response and have put Harry's name on trend again on Twitter.

Meanwhile, and waiting to bring his music on his ‘Love On’ tour, Styles continues to record Olivia Wilde's new movie, “Don’t Worry Darling,” which is currently filming in Palm Springs, California; after a brief hiatus from having coronavirus positive staff.
