Ivanka Trump. The 6 keys to his style
Ivanka Trump -the first-born and adviser to the President of the United States Donald Trump, the result of his marriage with his first wife Ivana- has a defined style that evolved over the years, depending on the stage of his career in which he was . At present, it is common to see her wear, with elegance and sophistication, garments of the best genres and brands, such as Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta, which adapt to her silhouette, adding her identity.
It is unknown if his styling is still in charge of the Australian Cat Williams, an image consultant widely consulted by Hollywood celebrities who he hired in 2017, the year his father assumed the presidency-, but it is certain that Ivanka (37) knows how to perfectly carry out his role of fashion influence that has enriched since his days as a model - he worked with greats such as Versace, Mugler and Tommy Hilfiger- and he also did it during his time in the fashion industry: she was the owner of her own brand of clothing and accessories until July 2018, when he announced his closure in order to avoid a conflict of interest with his position in the White House.
Analyzing the teams that she chooses in her public appearances allows us to identify six key aspects that define her style:
1. Color palette
The four shades that predominate in her garments are dark green, old pink, navy blue and pure white. One of the times she was seen wearing the first was at the Lincoln Memorial Inaugural Concert in Washington D.C. during January 2017.
However, these days, she also wore it during the Colombian women's ceremony in Bogotá, taking advantage of the ruffles, as is customary, with a Johanna Ortiz dress. And for her arrival in Argentina, she chose turquoise.
2. Tailor suits
With tube skirts of different lengths or pants by the ankle, her outfit par excellence is the tailored suit in the same color.
She also dresses the same type, such as the white Badgley Mischka with which she was photographed with the Colombian vice president Marta RamÃrez when she got off the plane on her arrival in Bogotá.
3. Ruffles and flared sleeves
Ivanka tends to break the straight-cut scheme of her garments by incorporating details with volume at the ends. Such is the case of the sleeves -short or long- finished in the shape of a bell that she uses both in dresses and in Oxford-type jackets and pants.
Ruffles are also often part of her looks, such as the peplums that she wears on her short jackets and dresses.
4. Flowered dresses
With very feminine airs, flower prints are Ivanka's favorites. For example, at the G20 meeting in Japan, she wore a Valentino midi dress in the pastel pink palette.
She too, on her last visit to Holland, she opted for a similar one from Livia Poppy-Devoré, in white with red flowers. A reason similar to the one she chose during her stay in Jujuy.
5. Asymmetrical cuts
Another of her favorite prints has to do with this category. An example is the two-piece suit made up of a short-sleeved jacket joined by a belt and a pencil skirt above the knees that she wore for the last G20 Summit in Argentina. On the other hand, she applies these figures in the shapes of the necklines and the cuts of the skirts. Contrasting line sets also appear in her outfits.
6. Marked waist
All of her garments are tight at the waist from the time she is made, or she is in charge of achieving this effect by having a thin belt that, at the same time, is usually in charge of closing her jackets or jackets.
These characteristics are typical of her looks at any time of the year. Now, it remains the question of knowing what teams she will surprise her with during her visit to the North of Argentina.
