Why weren't William and Kate invited to Princess Beatrice's wedding?

Apparently the wedding was only attended by the closest relatives of the couple, but William and Harry did not go for a great reason.

After the wedding of Princess Beatriz and the real estate businessman, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took everyone by surprise last Friday, little by little new details about the celebration have been revealed and one of them is that, Prince William, Prince Harry and their respective wives weren't included on the guest list.

The British newspaper Mirror published that the couple could only invite their closest relatives, and far from being due to some family tension, in reality they only followed the recommendations of the health authorities, regarding the restrictions of social distance because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In fact, this same reason was what forced Beatriz and Edoardo to cancel the ceremony, which was scheduled for May 29 of this year. The British newspaper assured that the reception took place in a garden where only the parents and brothers of the couple were present.

Not being direct relatives, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children: George, Charlotte and Louis were not on the select guest list, but they did take a moment to retweet the congratulatory message that was posted from the Royal Family account, on your Twitter profile.

"Congratulations to the Royal Highness from her Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi who were married in a small ceremony at All Saints' Royal Chapel at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday."

Meanwhile, even if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had been invited, their new residence in Los Angeles would have made it difficult for them to attend, under the current situation of the health crisis. As published by Bazaar magazine, the dukes congratulated the newlyweds through a private message.

Princess Beatrice not only attracted attention for giving a new air of modernity to Norman Hartell's silk dress in ivory tone and inlaid with diamonds, which belonged to her grandmother, and is that another important detail is that Sarah Ferguson's daughter and Prince Andrew wore a pair of recycled shoes.

It is a pair of Valentinos covered with champagne colored crystals that she wore for the wedding of her cousin, Prince William with Kate Middleton in 2011 and that three years later she used again for the wedding of Prince Amadeo of Belgium.
