As two of the quintessential actors of the '90s, Pitt and Paltrow made a great couple. They met on the set of the crime thriller Seven, in which they played husband and wife. Pitt and Paltrow began dating in 1994 and, in 1996, they were engaged to be married.
But even the matching hairstyles (as seen above, in the premiere of Pitt's 1997 action thriller Property of the Devil) couldn't keep them together. The young stars canceled their engagement that same year. However, there didn't seem to be much drama behind the scenes, if at all.

The 1990s was the decade when both actors settled in Hollywood. In fact, it was during the filming of one of Paltrow's early lead roles, Emma's main protagonist, that she became one of Harvey Weinstein's victims.
