Britney Spears changes her look and stops being blonde
The artist abandons her characteristic platinum hair and acknowledges that her sister has been her source of inspiration
Britney Spears wanted to turn her life around and started with herself. The Baby One More Time singer is an expert in using her image to convey messages, something she did a few years ago that she could repeat with her latest move: an unexpected makeover. "Same faces, same dress, new hair! My sister has inspired me to dye me," the singer wrote in a video montage that she shared on her social networks in which she appeared posing for different selfies. And it is that Jaime Lynn, the little one of the Spears, also wears her hair in a brown tone. The only difference is that the pop diva has preferred to personalize her tone by adding lighter highlights, the way to prevent her from hardening her features too much.
It is impossible not to relate this stylistic action to another milestone in her career -Oops! ... I did it again- since the artist is an expert in launching a makeover when she wants to show that she is taking the reins of her life. It was in 2007 when she completely shaved her blonde hair, which is one of the identifying signs of her career, impacting all her fans. A moment in which she joined the divorce of her with Kevin Federline and the death of an aunt of hers due to cancer, the reason that she had more weight when it came to cutting. Soon after, she entered a rehab center, so her haircut was just the first in a series of changes that brought her back to her optimal health.
Britney's most loyal fans have turned to supporting her idol by seeing the new hairstyle that is also pure trend. "As a brunette or blonde, you are always beautiful", "You are incredibly natural" or "You look very elegant" were some of the virtual approvals she received from her followers, who do not see the star for the first time with a color tone darker than its natural hue. The appointments she went to in 2013 were one of the last times she opted for the chestnut. This time Britney has chosen the Melted-Caramel tone, which is inspired by what her Anglo-Saxon name indicates, shades that are reminiscent of melted caramel with golden and copper nuances.
