On Sunday, June 6, the star of the upcoming F9 received a sweet reminder from her late co-star and friend when Paul's only daughter, Meadow Walker, 22, sent her a poignant photo from the past. In the picture, Vin and Paul's coordination is perfect as they smile in similar black shirts and sunglasses.
"Weeks from the release of F9 ... in pre-production to the finale starting in a few months," Vin explained in the caption of his Instagram post. "@meadowwalker sends me this image and tells me how happy the photo makes her feel."
"Naturally," he continued, "one is filled with excitement, purpose, and ultimately gratitude. Eternal brotherhood is an indescribable blessing."
The blockbuster star concluded with the caption, "I hope you are proud ... With all love, Always." Since then, the heartbreaking image has amassed over 2 million likes, including a simple yet ultra-sweet comment from Meadow: "I love you."
The two families have made their love for each other known over the years. When Meadow celebrated her 21st birthday in 2019, she received a special message from "Uncle Vin" on Instagram.
"I could say that I am very proud of the person you are becoming ... but the truth is that I have always been proud of you," she wrote to him at the time. "Happy Birthday Meadow! I know it's your 21st and you wanted to do something big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry up. I love you girl."
Meadow had recently turned 15 when her famous father was tragically killed in a car accident in 2013. He was 40 at the time of her shocking passing, one that shocked Hollywood and devastated her family Fast & Furious .
"Seven years ... Not a day goes by ..." Vin wrote on Instagram in November, commemorating the anniversary of Paul's death. "All love, always."
