Isabel II, Cristiano Ronaldo fan: ask for an autograph and 80 player shirts
This is a historic event for the British crown
The Portuguese footballer, five times winner of the Ballon d'Or, Cristiano Ronaldo, is looking forward to starting his new professional stage at Old Trafford, the home stadium of Manchester United, the club for which he has signed a two-year contract. Good news for the English who love the Portuguese player, who was already part of the British team between 2003 and 2009; and especially for Queen Elizabeth II who has declared herself a fan of Ronaldo.
Such is the monarch's devotion to the Portuguese that, apparently and according to the British media, he would have requested the first shirt worn by the star of the ball at United, which will be on Saturday, September 11, against Newcastle, with his autograph . A historic gesture, since it is the first time that Elizabeth II requests an autograph from a public figure.

But if that was not enough, sources close to United say that the Queen has requested another 80 Ronaldo shirts to distribute among her employees and members of the Royal Court.
