Johnny Depp is almost blind in one eye!
Johnny Depp has made a surprising revelation and explains why he wears tinted glasses almost all the time: he has been practically blind in his left eye since birth.
The interview Johnny Depp gave to Rolling Stone magazine allowed him to reveal himself like never before. Not only did he talk about his breakup with Vanessa Paradis, which he described as complicated, but also, he revealed a detail that he had hitherto kept secret. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, who is rarely photographed without a pair of tinted glasses, says he's been almost "as blind as a bat" in his left eye since birth.
The problem cannot be cured and the 50-year-old actor declares that his tinted glasses are for him a practically indispensable accessory: "Everything is really very blurry. I have never seen things clearly". He adds that his vision problem is such that he cannot see anything when playing, unless his character is wearing glasses, sight or the sun.
Johnny Depp admits that, even if he is satisfied with his career, he thinks of stopping it "every day". Amber Heard's fiancé admits that the life of a superstar weighs on him sometimes and that he would like to be quieter: "I would like to live somewhere where I don't have to hide, or make sure not to be seen at the entrance or exit of a hotel. From a certain age, you realize that it is to live like a fugitive ". Plus, he explains that he doesn't know how to relax: "Putting my brain on hold is something I don't know how to do. It makes me weird. Well no, not weird, just nervous."
