One of our favorite pieces of news this summer was finding out that Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves have been married since 1992, that is, almost 27 years! And nobody knew it.
This summer, during the promotion of 'Destination Wedding' Winona Ryder dropped the bombshell: Keanu Reeves and she have been married since 1992.
It all happened during the filming of 'Bram Stoker's Dracula', directed by Francis Ford Coppola, specifically in a scene in which the romantic couple they played was getting married. The director wanted it to be as real as possible, so he brought in a real priest who officiated the ceremony from start to finish.
This is how Winona explained it at the time: "I think we're married in real life. For that scene, Francis wanted to use a real priest. We shot the whole sequence while he was doing his thing, so I think we're married."
Now in The Talk Keanu Reeves has explained that "that's what she says ... Every now and then I receive a text message in which she says: 'Hello husband!'
