Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick: a love story that started in Mexico
The couple began their relationship in 2006 and were iconic on television.
Despite the years, personal problems, addictions and breakups, it seems that the love story between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick is not over yet. Or so they hinted in the latest preview of the new season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" (KUWTK).
But what has the story of these two influencers been like? And how did it all start?
According to Kourtney, their story began when they met in Mexico while on vacation in 2006. They were meeting a group of friends at the home of "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis.
But, despite what the world believes, it was not love at first sight. In an episode of “Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons,” Disick confessed that he went after her, but her famous sister didn't want anything with him at first.
“I just thought he was very annoying. He was four years younger than me, he lived in New York and had no job, ”shared Kardashian.
After that, the couple were together for two years and their relationship was portrayed in the first few episodes of KUWTK. However, in November 2008 the couple announced that they would end their relationship. According to US Weekly reports, the pressure of a long-distance relationship and Scott's suspicions of infidelity were part of the decision.
In 2009 it was announced that Kourtney was pregnant. The pair continued to be friends throughout the pregnancy, but decided to resume the relationship while they both ventured out to become parents. In December of that year, Kourtney gave birth to Mason, the couple's first child.
But the happiness lasted only a few months, because the following year, Scott began to show his abuse of alcohol and other substances. The couple, along with Khloé, were starring in "Kourtney And Khloé Take Miami," which meant that their fights were featured on the show.
In one of the episodes the businessman was shown on a night out and after arriving in his hotel room he behaved very aggressively with the baby present. So much so that he broke a mirror and had to have surgery on his hand. It was at this point that Kourtney decided that she had to do something about it and gave her an ultimatum.
“You are not going to be around Mason while you work on yourself. There's not even a 1% chance ... I can't do this anymore. I love Mason more than I love you. And that's what it is, ”Koutney told him that year.
After this episode, the couple seemed to have solved their problems, and everything was going well. Such was the case that Scott bought an engagement ring and planned to propose to Kourtney in New York, during the filming of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York." When asking Kourtney her opinion about the marriage, the businesswoman simply replied that she did not want to change things, now that everything was going well, so Scott did not ask the question.
In November 2011 the couple revealed that they were expecting their second baby through a statement. "Scott and I are very excited to announce that we are expecting our second child and we are delighted to spread the love in our family," she announced.
And, in July 2012, the couple welcomed their only daughter Penelope and their relationship seemed to be going from strength to strength. The year continued uneventful, but at the end of 2013 Scott lost his mom and his dad died just a few months later.
After these tragic news, in June 2014 they both announced that they were expecting their third child. According to US Weekly, the two had planned to make a large family, per Kourtney's wishes. In December of that year, they welcomed Reign, their third child.
In March 2015 Scott finally decided to enter a rehabilitation center in Costa Rica. “I think the most important thing to me is his commitment to working on himself. If someone doesn't want to make changes, then it's very difficult, ”Kourtney told People.
But this step did not serve to fix their relationship because in July of this year the couple separated once more. Scott was seen on a yacht with stylist Chloe Bartoli, after that there were suspicions that Scott had taken again.
After the breakup, Scott entered another rehab facility, this time in Florida. In 2016, he spent time in a center in Malibu, it helped him "start his life over again." That same year, rumors exploded when Scott shared a photo of them kissing and that December the pair went on vacation with their children.
But in April 2017 they both spread the rumors when they both confirmed that they were just doing their parenting duties. After that, each of them went their own way in her love life. While Kardashian was dating Younes Bendjima, Disick began his relationship with Sofia Ritche.
After this, Ritchie, Disick and Kardashian vacationed together in Los Cabos, dissolving rumors of fights between the two women.
However, rumors soared once again, after both ended their relationship and the new trailer hinted that the pair want to have another child together.
