MEET THE TRAGIC LIFE OF KEANU REEVES
Keanu Reeves is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood today, but this has not made his life easy as dozens of American actors and singers do.
Compared to many others, he has had the misfortune of having lived through very traumatic experiences that have definitely marked him for life.
His father
He mistreated and humiliated him in front of people, when Keanu was 12 years old, his father was arrested due to drug trafficking.
His mother
She suffered from the mistreatment of Keanu's father for many years, in order to raise her children she had to work as a stripper in nightclubs. Unfortunately Keanu had different stepfathers who sometimes did less of it. Today he has a very good relationship with his mother because of everything she did for them.
Her best friend
River Phoenix (Joaquin Phoenix's brother) died of an overdose in 1993. In an interview, he states that he often thinks about him and that he could possibly have done more to prevent him from continuing to use drugs. That same year, his father was arrested again for drug abuse and sale.
His daughter
In 1999 he had the terrible news that her then girlfriend Jennifer Syme had lost her little 8 month old baby while she was still in her womb, this hurt him a lot.
His girlfriend
In 2001 Jennifer Syme was on her way back to a party for singer Marilyn Manson, when her 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee truck lost control of her, killing her instantly. Syme was only 28 years old.
His sister
Keanu's sister, Kim Reeves suffered from Leukemia when she was a little girl. Fortunately, she got ahead and today she is cured. Keanu donated 70% of his profits from the Matrix tape to different hospitals that treat this terrible disease.
His life
It is very common to see him on the street eating alone with a very careless style, this has led many to say that he suffers from severe depression. In an interview he said:
"Many need happiness to be able to live, I do not."
Your money
Although he has an estimated fortune of $ 350 million, the actor lives very modestly in an austere apartment. He is one of the few who does not have a mansion and that despite his money, he always tries to travel by subway.
There was an occasion that he wanted to celebrate his birthday only from him. He bought a coffee and a small cake with a candle in it. He was very approachable with people who approached him, giving them a smile and offering them some of his cake.
