Meghan Markle's attitude begins to upset royalty
Apparently, the Duchess has generated displeasure within the Palace, both of her, that she is already nicknamed 'Hurricane Markle' (and not for the better).
It was only a matter of time before the 'meghan mania' was partially diluted and the first criticisms or negative stories about the Duchess of Sussex emerged.
This same weekend the Mail On Sunday has published a controversial article in which it presents Prince Harry's wife as a hurricane, but not exactly as a positive analogy, since she does not hesitate to relate the personality of the former actress and his way of facing his new institutional role with the resignation of three relevant figures of the palace staff: one of his assistants, who in the press is only known as Melissa, Kensington's communication secretary Katrina McKeever and one of the collaborators Harry's own, Edward Lane Fox, whom the newspaper presents as its "right hand" and who will finally leave his post earlier than expected.
Those resignations are somehow associated with Meghan's attitude and the strong work ethic that the Duchess would apply to her new role within the monarchy, waking up at five or six in the morning daily and bombarding messages from first hour to his team with different ideas related to his humanitarian work or his "different covert missions" to get to know the British people better.
Meghan's less formal manners, such as closing the doors of her vehicles herself or her wardrobe much more informal than that of her sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge, two factors that were initially applauded for bringing a breath of fresh air to an institution so traditional, they have also started to be questioned now, especially in the aforementioned article.
Specifically, the first official appearance of the Duchess of Sussex with Queen Elizabeth II last June is cited as an example, when the former decided to do without a headdress for the event despite the fact that the Queen had informed that she would wear one and Therefore, protocol dictated that she should also add one to her outfit, which would have displeased even the monarch.
"Meghan has already been told that she has to start dressing less like a Hollywood star and more like royalty," says a source from one of the teams of stylists who have visited Kensington Palace.
