On a recent trip to Radio Disney, Selena teamed up with Brent to play a game. Selena had to choose one of six boxes, each of which contained something different. If she opened the box with the ring, Brent would get to propose to her. Of course, they had a little mishap, and it turns out Brent forgot to put the ring in any of the boxes – it was in his pocket the whole time. (Smooth move if that was secretly planned.)
The whole thing ended up with him checking every box to make sure it wasn't in there, and then eventually pulling it out of his pocket and apologizing. Of course, that meant that he did indeed get to "propose" (Selena expressly noted: "I'm not sure how my boyfriend would feel about that") but it was all in good fun, as the proposal was for...a frozen yogurt date. And the ring itself? Just a tiny photo of Brent's face... which we don't hate, to be honest.
