Does Daniel Craig's James Bond Die in No Time to Die?
Fans have already been able to see the final trailer for the new James Bond movie, No Time to Die. The film will see the farewell of Daniel Craig as 007 and, as the advance points out, it could also reveal the death of the agent.
The clip includes clues to the possible fate of the film's main character. The preview not only suggests that Bond is in danger, but also that the challenge he faces is much greater than seen in previous installments.
The trailer for No Time to Die shows the devastating consequences when Bond realizes that his girlfriend Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) has been keeping a terrible secret from him.
He is then forced to seek the help of his greatest enemy, Blofeld (Christoph Waltz). "She still loves you, did you know? When her secret comes out, it will be your death," says the villain.
In addition, the trailer includes some phrases that seem to predict the end of Bond. "Each mission, each sacrifice has brought him to this moment," reads the advance. The film also introduces the new 007, played by Lashanna Lynch. Unless she is murdered, it seems unlikely that she will give up the role of 007 hers in order for the character of Craig to return.
The action scenes also suggest that the protagonist will face very dangerous situations. In one sequence, the character is seen trapped under the ice of a frozen lake while the villain, played by Rami Malek, shoots him. As if this were not enough, James Bond repeatedly refers to the need to "finish" something, while the credits say that No Time to Die is the "conclusion" of the saga.
No Time to Die will hit theaters on October 1.
