Former senior advisers to the White House have been living in luxury condos in Miami since leaving Washington, DC.

New aerial photos have given a glimpse of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's new $ 24 million mansion, and the images reveal that the rear of the property is somewhat run-down.

According to real estate news outlet The Real Deal, the former DC couple acquired a 1.3-acre waterfront property in South Florida located on the exclusive Indian Creek property.

Sources reportedly told the outlet that the couple bought the lot for $ 24 million in a sale that closed in April and registered with the Multiple Listing Service.

The report says the couple's new home has six bedrooms that span 8,510 square feet plus reflective pools, a double staircase and a large dock.

However, recently published aerial photographs of the property have shown that the back of the mansion is currently in a totally different state of disarray from its previous grandeur and may need a little loving.

The photos show damaged tiles and maintenance-free pools, one of which is a swampy green color while the others are completely drained.

The former president's daughter and son-in-law do not appear to have moved into the residence yet, The Real Deal says, and they are said to still be renting a luxury beachfront condo in Miami.

Indian Creek is “an exclusive 300-acre island nestled in the beautiful waters of Biscayne Bay and recognized as one of the wealthiest, most private and safest communities on Miami Beach,” according to Miami Luxury Homes.

The high levels of security on the island are maintained by its own police force, as well as by an armed marine patrol that monitors the waters around the creek. A single bridge with an entrance gate protects the entrance to the island.

Rich and famous residents who have lived on the island are said to include singer Julio Iglesias, NFL star Tom Brady and Hotels.com co-founder Bob Diener.

The creek is also home to an 18-hole golf course and an elite country club with fewer than 50 residents across the island.

Ivanka and Jared moved from Washington, DC, in January, following the end of Donald Trump's term as president. The couple had served as senior advisers to the White House during Trump's four-year tenure.

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report that the married couple had signed a one-year lease on a luxury condo in Miami worth $ 33 million.
