Jennifer Aniston and the open dress she modeled inspired by JLo
The "Friends" actress has been on red carpets for much of her life, but she still draws inspiration from other successful women to pose.
Jennifer Aniston has been posing on the red carpets for 30 years, and yet she doesn't feel like she's a modeling expert. However, the "Friends" actress told the September issue of InStyle that she knows who 'dominates' her every time.
"Jennifer Lopez. I want to know what gives her the appearance that she is about to be boiling. She is amazing. She is almost caught with an angry face, but she is so beautiful", shared the artist in their respective interview for the cover. The "The Morning Show" actress added: "She says, 'I can't believe she's here.' But I don't think she's trying; she fell out of bed like that. She's a performer."
Aniston and Lopez have never worked together, but they appear to be friends as they have been seen chatting at events. And they are exactly the same age: 52 years old.
Regarding her own performance on the red carpet, Jennifer said: "It depends on your stylist, because they say, 'Never do this! Always do this!" I say, 'Well that feels weird.' I don't know how to stand on a red carpet, but you do the best you can. '
And making friends on the carpet is also important: 'I also try to connect with those people who have cameras. I have known some of them for a long time, so I will say hello. If I have an honest interaction with someone, it makes it easier. "
Aniston also mentioned how different her path to fame was compared to girls like Britney Spears: "They were feeding off young, impressionable girls. Half of these boys started at The Mickey Mouse Club," she said. “I was lucky to be raised by a very strict mother. The priorities were not to become a famous person. It was: 'Study your craft, learn what you're doing, don't go out there and get lucky.'
"I think Spears's girl group when they were teenagers didn't have any kind of 'Who am I?' They were being defined by this outside source. The media took advantage of that, capitalized on it, and ultimately it cost them their sanity. It's so heartbreaking, "she concluded.
The actress also named the stars she thinks are 'badass': "Gloria Steinem. Diane Keaton. Oprah. Women who have lived a life, their authentic life, without apologies."
He also mentioned that during the pandemic he analyzed his life well and clarified what did not work for him: "My anxiety level has dropped by eliminating the type of unnecessary fat in life that I had thought was necessary. Also realizing that you cannot please everyone. And what good is that if you are just a little piece of yourself? Let's all try to be what we are so that we can come to the table, "he said.
And while he loves acting, he's not enthusiastic about chatting about his job: "I call it the dog and pony show - traveling for press trips, red carpets, the shiny penny stuff. Do people really need all of that? "Work is what I love to do. It is your promotion that causes me stress."
