Jennifer Lawrence opens up about her leaked photos
Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst and Rihanna also reportedly suffered a virtual attack.
Social networks are experiencing a real stir after the leak on the internet of private photographs, supposedly hacked from the cloud, of famous naked or in sensual poses, among them Jennifer Lawrence, who has already announced legal actions, although not all are true. "This is a flagrant violation of privacy," the artist's spokesperson said in a statement, saying that authorities have already been contacted "and will pursue anyone who publishes stolen photographs of Jennifer Lawrence."
The list of celebrities who would have suffered this virtual attack includes Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Victoria Justice, Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton, Lea Michelle, Mary Kate Olsen and Kirsten Dunst, according to the Buzzfeed.com portal.
Although at the moment it is unknown how it happened, local media have pointed out that the images would have been illegally obtained from some virtual data storage platform and social networks have been filled with comments about the case, making the matter and Jennifer Lawrence a topic of the moment.
"These photos in which I am supposed to be naked are false, make it clear." The actress and singer Victoria Justice was so blunt on her official Twitter in relation to the images, while Ariana Grande's spokesperson pointed out in an email that they are "completely false."
However, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has acknowledged that the images are hers. In her official Twitter account, the actress wrote: "I hope that everyone who is looking at the photos I took, with my husband, years ago and in the privacy of our home, feel good about themselves."
"Knowing that we deleted those photos a long time ago, I can imagine the malicious effort he made to get them. My sympathies to everyone who gets hacked," she added.
