Riding a Dirt Bike on a Cliff Becomes Tom Cruise's Most Dangerous Stunt Scene

Actor Tom Cruise admits that one of the scenes where he rides a dirt bike on the edge of a cliff in the new film Mission Impossible (MI) 7 is the most dangerous stunt scene he has done so far. The Hollywood actor often performs stunt scenes without the help of other people or stuntmen. Starting from hanging on a helicopter, sticking to the fuselage of an airplane, crawling through the glass windows of the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa and others.

It's just that according to Tom Cruise the scene of riding a dirt bike on the edge of a hill in the new film Mission Impossible 7 is the most dangerous stunt scene he has ever done. This was revealed by Tom Cruise in EMPIRE magazine recently.

The actor who was born on July 3, 1962, said that while riding a motorbike on the edge of a hill at high speed, the most dangerous factor was the weather. He hoped that the weather conditions at that time were not windy. The reason is that if the wind is very strong, the motorbike he is riding will not be stable running at high speed on the edge of the hill.

"The problem was above me the helicopter was trying to shoot the scene. I really didn't want to fall and then hit the rocks on the cliff," said Tom Cruise.

He continued the scene not too long actually. He only took 6 seconds to ride the motorbike on a cliff at high speed and then jump when the motorbike fell into the ravine.

"I don't want to be tied to a motorbike that fell. If that happened then it wouldn't be good for all of us," he explained.

It's the complexity that according to Tom Cruise makes the stunt scene the most dangerous scene he's ever done. Tom Cruise is known to never use stunt-doubles in doing dangerous scenes.

Quoted from the NYPost, Tom Cruise did that so that the scenes he lived still looked realistic. "Audiences today are increasingly critical and they are asking for more than a scene," he said.
