The big mistake that Melania Trump made during the visit of the Kings to the White House
The first lady of the United States greeted Doña Letizia with two kisses instead of the hand and crossed her legs during her reception in the Oval Office.
The expectation was maximum, so these days all eyes have turned to Washington. The Kings of Spain have been on an official trip to the United States and, as an "excellent" closing of what has been "the perfect trip," in the words of Felipe VI, the King and Doña Letizia visited the US President, Donald Trump.
It was the first time they met and from their meeting there have been anecdotes such as the protocol errors of the first lady, Melania Trump. Perhaps it was the troubled weather, since upon arrival at the White House they were greeted by a rain that soon turned into a storm, or perhaps it was simply the spontaneity that has suddenly resurfaced in it, the fact is that when greeting each other, while Trump and Don Felipe shook hands, Melania rushed over and gave Doña Letizia two kisses on the cheek.
To this error, which could well presuppose closeness between the two, something uncharacteristic of a first meeting, Melania relapsed into a second protocol error. During the reception in the Oval Office, Donald Trump's wife crossed her legs, something that is frowned upon in these types of meetings.

A meeting full of "blunders" that began early. In addition to the two kisses, they had a moment of confusion when it came to positioning themselves to pose for the media. First, Donald Trump positioned himself next to her wife and, next to her, Doña Letizia.
However, this location left Felipe VI displaced and finally, the American president chooses to leave the space next to him for the King.
