The important political message of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Biel, Laura Dern and other "celebrities"
Social networks are the best loudspeaker and celebrities have used them to share their selfies with the "I VOTED" sticker, along with vindictive messages with which to raise awareness for the next presidential elections in the United States.
The race for the presidency of the United States has begun. Although it will not be until next November 3 when citizens deposit the ballot with the name of the politician they want to govern them for, at least, the next four, the elections have already celebrated one of their primordial days. It is about 'super Tuesday' (in English, Super Tuesday), the key day in the Democratic primaries in which the voters of 14 states choose the future candidate for the White House, that is, the direct rival of Donald Trump. And celebrities have used their privileged position to remind their millions of followers of the real importance of exercising a right (and a true commitment): to vote.
Jennifer Aniston posted a cute photo with her dog Clyde of hers on social media to urge her nearly 30 million followers to exercise this right. "Every vote counts," wrote the Friends actress along with a photo of her beloved pet to which she placed a sticker with the legend "I voted." Although she has not publicly expressed her support for any of the candidates, Brad Pitt's ex is a staunch supporter of the Democratic Party. So much so that, in 2016, Jennifer was an open supporter of Hillary Clinton.
Another of the Hollywood stars who has encouraged her followers to come to the polls has been Laura Dern, who has lived an election day that she will hardly forget. The actress of Story of a marriage has gone to vote for the first time with her son and has taken the opportunity to remind her followers that they should do the same. "What a moment to go to vote for the first time with your son! We did it! Let's vote so that we can feel hopeful about our planet!", Wrote the interpreter, visibly proud of this new step.
Jessica Biel had a double celebration. The 'super Tuesday' coincided with her 38th birthday and she celebrated it in style, not without first exercising her right (and wasting a sense of humor). "Proof that today I have done more than eat cake. If you do not vote, you will not receive a sticker to post on Instagram. Nor will you be able to hear your voice and influence the world we live in, but ... the sticker," wrote the Justin Timberlake's wife.
Michelle Pfeiffer, Demi Moore, Eva Longoria or Emily Ratajkowski, a firm defender of the candidate Bernie Sanders' campaign, are just some of the celebrities who have immortalized the moment, posting a photograph with the sticker to their social networks, accompanied by vindictive messages.
