The top ten of the best (and worst) reactions of celebrities in front of the paparazzi

Despite being very famous and accustomed to paparazzi and curious camera lenses, there are many celebrities who have reactions that are not always justifiable

Being a famous person certainly has many advantages: you are recognized wherever you go, you go to the most fashionable places and, generally, you have a much higher standard of living than all of us, mere mortals. Yet, there is a downside, it is by no means negligible. In one word: paparazzi.

Of course, maybe at the beginning of your career this kind of attention comes as an interesting novelty, so much so that it makes you happy. Over time, however, the constant presence of paparazzi ready to immortalize every single moment of their daily life - even the most intimate - can begin to annoy. For many VIPs it is in fact an invasion of privacy.

A constant in the life of our VIPs that can get to trigger any kind of reaction. There are those who resort to local authorities, those who let go of some unwelcome statements, those who lose their patience and go to the hands, but also those who come up with admirable ideas to respond to the uncomfortable presence of the camera.

So here is the top 10 of the events that have seen Italian and foreign VIPs protagonists. We start from celebrities who have shown themselves open to dialogue, inviting us to reflect peacefully on the impact that invasion of privacy can have (like Jennifer Garner), to women who have shown a certain tolerance as long as they do not photograph minors (like Ilary Blasi and the Dukes of Sussex), to those who, like Gigi Hadid, chose indifference, and then came to tell about those who went to the facts in a more or less drastic way. There are those who asked the police for help (such as Belen Rodriguez), those who had nice ideas (such as Giulia De Lellis, Ariana Grande and Ana De Armas) and those who preferred the path of verbal offenses (such as Alberto Angela). The unfortunate deeds of those who, like Chris Hughes, have come to blows close the ranking.

1-In first place we find Jennifer Garner who, in October of this year, wanted to talk about the impact of the paparazzi on her life. A problem - that of too much popularity - which was also reflected on her children, so much so that she tried to pass a law that made it illegal for paparazzi to photograph children without the permission of their legal guardians. In short, hats off for a peaceful invitation to reflect on a battle that never seems to end.

2 - Still on the podium, but in second position, Ilary Blasi who recently lashed out at the weekly Gente for putting her 13-year-old daughter Chanel Totti on the cover - paparazzi, by the sea, in a bikini, together with her father Francesco Totti. The issue of minors therefore inevitably returns to the spotlight. The presenter made her voice felt indignant on her Instagram, underlining how the foresight to obscure the face of the teenager does not go well with the fact that she left the B-side of the very young for all to see. Editorial choices, of course, but without those stolen shots they would never have created all this fuss.

3 - In third place are those who prefer to take legal action when their children are at stake. This is the case of the Sussex who, last July, took the X17 photo agency to court for having photographed little Archie playing with a drone in the courtyard of the Beverly Hills house. The lawsuit ended with the victory of Harry and Meghan. In particular, the agency had to destroy all the photos (including negatives) and pay the procedural costs, as well as having to apologize publicly.

4-Fourth in the ranking is Gigi Hadid, who to go unnoticed has chosen clothes that mask her appearance - as well as her shapes softened by pregnancy. Accompanied by her sister on the streets of New York, Gigi wore an oversized men's jacket, a Brixton cap, sunglasses, mask and gloves: all strictly dark in color. And you have devoted only great indifference to photographers.

5 - Let's now turn to Belen Rodriguez, who recently embarked on a love affair with a man almost 10 years younger than her - Antonino Spinalbese. As reported by the weekly Oggi, the showgirl seems to have been repeatedly disturbed by photographers who tried to photograph her in intimate attitudes with her partner in a bar in the center of Rome. She was annoyed and impatient, she got up from the table and called the police to try to send away the paparazzi camped outside the club. All in all, a rather discreet and harmless reaction.

6 - Then there is Giulia De Lellis, who has found a decidedly ingenious way to get rid of the paparazzi. As we all know, the girl is dating Carlo Beretta, a young member of the famous arms manufacturing family, as well as a friend of Andrea Damante. Having become involuntary protagonists of the lens while they were sitting at a table in a nice restaurant in Franciacorta, the Roman influencer has seen fit to give them back tit for tat, as they say. So here she picks up her smartphone and starts filming the people who, in turn, were spinning them. After all, why not make ordinary people feel the thrill of seeing their privacy violated, even if only once in their life?

7 - Ariana Grande, on the other hand, tried to play the paparazzi game by deciding to publish a photo taken by one of them in her Instagram stories. However, if on the one hand you prevented the man from publishing it, on the other you provoked your anger at her. The photographer, in fact, denounced her because the singer did not have the image rights to do so. In short, beyond the damage of her insult. Unfortunately, a fate common to many celebrities.

8 - Use a cardboard in your own image and likeness to put in front of the house? This was done by actress Ana De Armas who, to protect the romance that is being born with Ben Affleck, has decided to take a little revenge on photographers. Through it all, though, even Ben Affleck's three children have been seen helping her find a good place to plant cardboard in her backyard.

9-Alberto Angela, on the other hand, did not hear reasons when he was answered no to his request to delete the photos that portrayed him while he was walking quietly. To resolve the situation, the police had to intervene. The agents took the personal details of all the people involved and, after noting that no crime had been committed, they left. Fortunately, the worst was averted.

10 - The photographer who was beaten by Chris Hughes, the star of Love Island, the reality show that recently landed in Italy was not so lucky. All seasoned with numerous insults. In the meantime, while the outcome of the police investigation is awaited, the young man took the opportunity to apologize to his girlfriend as the fight that saw him as the protagonist shifted all attention to him. In fact, at the same time she was receiving an important film award. For now, however, it seems that Chris has not yet tried to contact the photographer. In short, a closure of the ranking far from beauty!
