Actress Alyssa Milano, rape victim, "as the cameras rolled"
The actress revealed by "Madame est served" and at the initiative of the #MeToo movement confided for the first time about a rape she suffered during the filming of a sex scene, and even as the cameras were still rolling.
She had never mentioned it before. Too hard. "It's always very difficult to talk about it," she said on her "Sorry not sorry" podcast on Monday, October 14. But very moved, Alyssa Milano unrolled the chilling story of a rape, which she suffered the year following the end of the filming of the cult series, in which the actress had been revealed, "Madame est served" , in 1993. At the time, the young woman had accepted a role in a film, where she had to play a sex scene.
Too many of us have #MeToo stories. There is power in these stories, power that has changed the world in the two years since the hashtag brought us together.

Usually, she says, “Professionals know how to handle this kind of situation appropriately, without going overboard and with a level of confidence that is important. Except that that day, the man she was playing the scene with went way too far. “He used a moment of vulnerability on my part to put his hands under my underwear and try to penetrate me with his fingers. He raped me on set while the cameras were rolling. I was crying, I was scared and I was furious. "
She was the actor's name
The director, who saw the act unfold before his eyes, asks him if he should call the police. "I don't know what you want me to do with that" he would have declared to her before finally asking her to resume filming. After spending hours crying in the dressing room, young Alyssa finally did, in the face of how little support she felt from the film crew. "I continued for six hours to shoot the scene with the man who had just assaulted me. He was 17 years older than her.
Today, however, Alyssa Milano continues to keep silent about the name of her attacker. She thought about doing it, she explains, but changed her mind when she thought of this man's children. "This predator has a wife and children and I don't want them to be concerned." We just learn from him that he is still in the film industry and pursuing his career "in big productions".
The actress, now 45, is one of the most followed people on social media. Known to the general public for her roles in "Madame est servie", then "Melrose place" or "Charmed", she is at the origin of the #MeToo movement, launched on Twitter the day after the Harvey Weinstein affair. Since then, Alyssa Milano has fought daily for the rights of women and minorities.
