Christina Ricci strips FULL FRONTAL in crafty PUBIC wig for Z: The Beginning of Everything
Christina Ricci has stripped off her former child star roots to lay it all bare for her new television series Z: The Beginning of Everything.
Although, the 36-year-old - who shot to fame as the devilish Wednesday in 90s cult comedy The Addams Family - said that she had no qualms about getting completely naked for the Amazon Prime drama, thanks to a novel pubic wig used to cover her modesty.
The show follows the life of Zelda Fitzgerald, the wife of The Great Gatsby writer F. Scott Fitzgerald, and in one particularly racy scene, the show’s heroine goes to extreme measures to grab the attention of her husband.
In a room packed with onlookers, Ricci’s Zelda bursts into the room in nothing but a pair of kinky heels as she leans on the door to flaunt her entire naked body.
Over the course of her career, Ricci has become accustomed to exposing every inch of her enviable figure, but felt at ease with her new hairpiece.
“I almost don’t feel like it isn’t fully nude because the merkin is kind of like wearing a bikini,” she told Yahoo Style about the moment in question. “I don’t know that I would ever go just full on vag. I feel like I’d have to do underwear.
“It’s a merkin. It feels like you have underwear on.”
What’s more, the star assured that she chooses to go full frontal with an open mind - and an empty stomach.
“I just make sure that they shoot it first thing so that I can eat afterwards,” she chuckled. “I’ve done a lot of nude scenes in my life and I feel like at this point, it’s no secret what I look like naked. You can Google me.”
Christine also explained that she brushed off her body insecurities for the steamy serial, because when you’re an actress, “who cares?”
