Does Jennifer Aniston drink beer and Alcohol?
Considering how she seems to be a health freak, does the Friends star drink alcohol?
Jennifer Aniston usually avoids alcohol, along with other sugary drinks in general. She prefers to stay hydrated and eat healthily, but she does indulge on occasion. She even has her own special margarita recipe which she claims is a healthier alternative.
Read on to learn more about Jennifer’s healthy lifestyle, and how she feels about alcohol consumption.
Does Jennifer Aniston Drink Wine?
While she tends to avoid it now, Jennifer has always been fond of wine, in particular. When she was engaged to Justin Theroux, there were rumors of her tending to, well, drink a bit too much wine at times. Reports said that Justin wanted her to cut down on her alcohol consumption since she was able to ‘easily down a “bottle of wine.’ Sources also said that he wanted her to have an alcohol-free wedding, but she wasn’t too keen on the idea.
Yet another source said, at the time, ‘Everyone knows that Jennifer loves wine, but Justin would really like her to stop drinking entirely. The older Justin gets, the more he’s become a super health freak, and he wants Jen to follow suit. She’s definitely slowed down her drinking since she and Justin hooked up, but she still loves two or three glasses of wine every night. Justin hopes that she’s going to give that up soon.’
This definitely seems to not be the case anymore, because Jennifer is now a bigger health freak than her ex-husband Justin Theroux.
Jennifer’s Special ‘Cleaner Margarita’
In a 2018 interview with InStyle, Jennifer spoke about her special ‘cleaner margarita’ recipe with Molly McNearney, the wife of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and one of Jennifer’s friends. Molly told Jennifer that she was good at making margaritas!
While most margarita recipes use some kind of sweetener, Jennifer is a purist. ‘No sugar, no mixes, no agave,’ she said, adding. ‘I don’t like sweet drinks.’ The recipe is just two ingredients, silver tequila, and lime juice, shaken and served on the rocks. Jennifer also said that some Cointreau could also be added to this, but she doesn’t like to.
This recipe seems to be something Jennifer learned from her ex-husband Justin Theroux. ‘Justin actually makes the perfect margarita … because there’s no agave, no sugar, no mix,’ she has said. However, she seems to be enjoying this drink even now, despite having split with Justin.
Jennifer Follows a Philosophy of Health and Wellness
Jennifer’s life is now based on following a philosophy of wellness; which is made up of many different aspects. Her diet is also one of them. She has said to Yahoo, ‘We have a choice. We can be really good all the time and be around for a really long time. But it also feels good when you give yourself some breaks and self-tending.’
For spiritual wellness, she takes part in certain spiritual rituals. For instance., she has spoken about using ‘goddess circles’ as a means to calm herself before major events. She told The New York Times, “I’m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I feel like it’s just about to really bloom.” The second method Jennifer uses is a practice of Transcendental Meditation, or TM, which she began in 2015. She says ‘I started doing TM and that’s really changed everything. Starting your day off with that and ending with that is pretty powerful.’
Jennifer Aniston also uses intermittent fasting for health benefits. Many celebrities and entrepreneurs swear by this method, which involves fasting for upwards of 16 hours a day, although you are allowed to drink water when fasting.
Jennifer Works Hard, Really Hard!
Her workout regime includes yoga, boxing, and running; all of these five days a week. She recently revealed to Harper’s Bazaar that her workout routine is, ‘so freakin’ hard, it’s unbelievable.’ Jennifer has also started boxing now. She told InStyle, ‘It’s the longest workout I’ve actually stayed with consistently other than yoga. There’s something about the mental aspect of boxing — the drills, your brain has to work, you’re not just sitting on a bike. It’s amazing.’ She adds that it is ‘a great way to get aggression out.’Jennifer’s actual diet consists of healthy and whole foods, although she does have cheat days. She says, ‘I always have cut raw vegetables in a Tupperware container. Hard-boiled eggs are always great to have in the fridge, as well as a big head of butter lettuce. I also include protein, such as pulled chicken.’
