Jennifer Aniston and her most uncomfortable interview: ex-footballer and presenter Jermaine Jenas hits her
While Reese Witherspoon seemed perfectly fine in answering questions while promoting 'The Morning Show', Aniston seemed distracted
Viewers of 'The One Show,' which airs in the United Kingdom, were left cringing after Jennifer Aniston appeared to have an "attitude" while doing an interview on the show while promoting an upcoming season of 'The Morning Show.'
Her co-star from the show, Reese Witherspoon, also appeared for the interview along with Aniston on Wednesday, and which was conducted via video call by talk show hosts Zoe Ball and Jermaine Jenas. While Witherspoon seemed perfectly fine in answering the questions directed at her, Aniston seemed a bit out of it as she looked distracted throughout the interview.
When she was quizzed about what went on behind the scenes on a real morning TV show which apparently has been an inspiration for their hit Apple TV+ series, Aniston seemed to not get the question right away.
She explained: "I learned the slow burn that it is. It's a very vampire state of life and mind that you guys live in. Everybody comes alive in the middle of the night and it's a slow-moving train. I got there at five in the morning and the hallways were quiet and people are just slowly waking up and then all of a sudden, the train starts moving and it gets crazier and crazier. It's utter chaos."
After the 'Friends' actress finished speaking, Jenas told Reese, “Reese, I am going to be honest with you. Jennifer pretty much sold it to be that she is not a morning person, so I am going to ask you, are you a morning person?” Surprised, Jennifer replied: “Did I sell that to you?” to which Jenas said, “A little bit.” After that, the actress asked, “Did I get a good deal?”
'Getting vibes of Mickey Rourke off Jennifer Aniston'
The awkward vibes that Aniston was giving off during the interview were not lost on social media users who took to Twitter to comment on it.
"Just seen Iggy Pop and Reece Witherspoon on #theoneshow," one of them said, while another noted, "Getting vibes of Mickey Rourke off Jennifer Aniston on #TheOneShow." A third remarked, "Jennifer Anniston’s ‘tude in this interview is cringe. She keeps on looking to the side awkward #theoneshow." One more added, "Jermaine dying on his arse trying to interview Jennifer Aniston #theoneshow." The next commented, "Did anyone else catch Jennifer Anniston’s negative reaction to the male presenter regarding the morning person bit? Awkward #theoneshow." Another quipped, "Watching #TheOneShow interview - painful." One more said, "Am I sensing a wee 'attitude' here? #TheOneShow."
Then there were those who could not get over the fact that Aniston's face has changed a lot over the years and that her upper lip seemed to be barely moving during the interview. A commenter tweeted, "Jennifer’s face - what has she done to it?? Victim of the Hollywood look? Or the pressure of keeping young to get the roles ?? sad #TheOneShow." One more wrote, "The world is starting to move again. Unlike Aniston’s top lip… #TheOneShow." A person reacted with, "Jennifer Anniston’s lips..talk to me. Her voice sounds different, are her lips pumped with cocaine? @BBCOne #TheOneShow." Another noted, "Jennifer’s face is so different #TheOneShow."
