Jennifer Lawrence has still not recovered from the scandal generated by the hacked photos of her iCloud, in which she posed naked and provocative for her boyfriend. The actress spoke this week about what it was like to see nude photos of her spread around the world. In an interview with "The Hollywood Reporter" magazine, the actress confesses that it was a deeply "violent" experience that she is still struggling to overcome. The 27-year-old interpreter was the first victim among the more than 100 celebrities who were attacked by hackers filtering nude images of her in 2014. The star of "The Hunger Games" assured that she decided not to sue because at that time she was more focused on dealing with what had happened to her. "When the hacking thing happened, I felt so violated that I can't even put it into words," adding, "Many women were affected, and many of them contacted me to sue Apple or sue [other people], and none of that would really bring me peace, none of that would give me back my naked body. I was not interested in suing anyone, I just wanted to heal.
It is not the first time that the interpreter has dared to speak on this delicate subject. She three years ago she gave an interview to the magazine "Vanity Fair" in which she broke her silence and spoke about this traumatic incident. “The fact that I am a public figure and an actress does not mean that I have asked for this to happen to me. The Oscar winner revealed that she even tried to write a statement when the photos were leaked but she couldn't: “Everything I tried to write made me cry or angry.
