Obsession is a thriller directed by Rob Cohen and starring Jennifer Lopez that contains erotic scenes. A divorced woman notices a boy, a friend of her son, who turns out to be more sinister than he appears.
Argument from Obsession A recently divorced woman (Jennifer López) looks at a young man, a friend of her son. He apparently he will be a cheerful, educated, attentive boy ... but as she discovers him he will be much more sinister than he seems.
My opinion on Obsession As in Harassment, this film has a brutal erotic scene in which the whole plot turns. It has more erotic scenes, but the central scene is the axis of everything, with a splendid Jennifer Lopez and a more interesting plot than the other mentioned work. This time the boy is harassing the mature woman he is sleeping with, something more common in this type of relationship. The story is interesting and all the elements that surround it help to enrich it. I personally liked it.
Criticism of Obsesión We have an uneven film from beginning to end. The first thing to say is that during the first part of the play the protagonist is a woman who looks at the handsome boy, a friend of her son. The scenes where the boy appears posing are numerous. But from then on everything starts to get out of control (for the director). Follow Spoiler. The boy ends up knowing everything to make life impossible for the woman. But he knows about so many things that he becomes incredible. To the point that the ending looks like the Terminator. Something like that cannot be taken seriously. And for that reason the average note plummets. In spite of everything she is not boring at all and you can see it. But it is not good.
