Johnny Depp reveals he suffers from blindness in his left eye
The American actor revealed that since his birth his sight has not been "normal" and that for that reason he wears glasses.
American actor Johnny Depp, who recently turned 50, revealed to Rolling Stone magazine in English that his eyesight "has never been normal", due to the fact that he suffers from almost complete blindness in his left eye.
The actor told that outlet that he was born with poor vision in that eye "basically blind as a bat" and "blurred". He stated that his problem is "impossible" to correct and he has to wear prescription sunglasses.
Depp was also diagnosed with myopia in his right eye, according to what he confessed during an interview about his participation as the Indian Bull in the movie 'The Lone Ranger'.
The main protagonist of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' pointed out that he can only see a few centimeters from his face, which makes it difficult for him to work during film shoots.
